Diet Day 29

Before I went into surgery I bought a bunch of key foods to help in the healing process.  Although my regular diet is quite clean, this diet is extra clean with a few extras I wouldn’t normally include.  I plan to document this process as I heal.

Breakfast: Oatmeal with homemade almond milk, scoop of whey powder, banana, raspberries (from neighbour’s garden) service berries (hand-picked myself!)

Lunch: Shrimp salad (lemon/garlic/oil/mustard dressing) with cilantro (from my herb garden).  Spinach, arugula, red pepper and red onion(with same dressing as shrimp). Peanuts

Snack: half an apple

Dinner: Homemade curried chickpeas with spices, onions, garlic, tomatoes and garden kale. Saffron quinoa.

Dessert: Chocolate nut cluster

Snack: Mango
