Before I went into surgery I bought a bunch of key foods to help in the healing process. Although my regular diet is quite clean, this diet is extra clean with a few extras I wouldn’t normally include. I plan to document this process as I heal.
Breakfast: Energy bars (recipe)
Lunch: Mushroom, onion, fried egg. Salad with greens from the garden, avocado, red pepper, red onion and salad dressing (mustard, oil, lemon, garlic). Peanuts. Cashews.
Dinner: Last of the leftover curry chickpeas and saffron quinoa.
Dessert: Chocolate nut/fruit cluster
Snack: last of the cherries 😦 and mango
